There is also a useful page of internet resources Bryophyte Flora of North America This project is well underway, and the website already includes peer reviewed accounts of many taxonomic groups. International Association of Bryologists (IAB) International body for bryologists which produces publications (including the newsletter The Bryological Times) and organises regular meetings. 		General The Hidden Forest This superb site is very highly recommended. It gives an excellent introduction to bryophyte biology and is beautifully illustrated. Bryophyte Ecology Janice Glime's textbook on Bryophyte Ecology is appearing on the web as a series of pdf files as they are written. There is a wealth of interesting information here and plenty of good illustrations. The Tree of Life A phylogenetically based biology site with two interesting pages on the Embryophytes and the Bryopsida. These pages include a discussion of relationships within the groups and peristome structure. They are well illustrated and there are some further bryology links. Michael Lüth's Bryophyte Image Pages Michael Lüth is a master of bryophyte photography and the artistic manipulation of the digital image. You can view some of his pictures and order his CDs.
