Small clone of Conocephalum conicum submitted by Dr. I. J. Odrzykoski This small clone of Conocephalum conicum was collected in 1978 in a cave on the Isle of Man by E V Watson, and is mentioned in Jean Paton's "The Liverwort Flora of the British Isles" . It was sent to the laboratory of Prof. J. Szweykowski (Poznan, Poland) where it is still maintained in culture. (See I. J. Odrzykoski and J. Szweykowski., 1991. Genetic differentiation without concordant morphological divergence in the thallose liverwort Conocephalum conicum. Pl. Syst. Evol 178: 135-151.)
