The book

The final output from this project will be a book.  This will be a 'distillation' of all of the information gathered [from the  public] during the project, together with historical background, and will serve as a landmark of this fascinating aspect of Scottish culture.

This will be a dynamic, interesting, well written and well illustrated examination of the varied roles of native plants in our lives, viewed from all perspectives.  The book will be of general interest to the Scottish public, and will be available to schools at a special subsidised rate.
