The Botanical Garden of Talence since 1998 is building up a living collection of Hydrocotyloideae. Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) has been studied for 10 years, and numerous collaborative projects with the faculty of Tetouan and the Botanical Conservatory of Mulhouse. General taxonomy of Araliales and Cornidae is also undertaken with biochemists.
