Personal Profile
I am based at the RBGE a Ph.D. student (started 1995) with University of Edinburgh and Coimbra University (Dr Fâtima Sales, Dept. Botanica). My Ph.D. project is "A Taxonomic revision of the genus Bupleurum in W Mediterranean and Macaronesia (Madeira & Canary Islands" concentrating on the Canary Island species and their relatives. As part of this research I have contributed the generic account of Bupleurum for the Checklist of Vascular Plants of Northern Morocco project. I am also working on the genus for Flora Ibirica.
