Salix lapponum in the exclosure by the Visitor Centre at Ben Lawers. These individuals were planted as seedlings in 1998 as part of a willow scrub restoration project carried out by the National Trust for Scotland.

 

Well developed Salix lapponum scrub in Glen Doll. This is probably the finest remaining example of NVC type W20 Salix lapponum-Luzula sylvatica scrub in Great Britain.
